(CHATSWORTH, ON) – Grey Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers continue to see drivers making illegal and potential deadly choices that will affect others on the road. Three drivers were stopped and charged with drug impairment over three days, last weekend.
On June 6, 2020 at 5:22 p.m. Grey Bruce OPP were conducting a Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere (RIDE) program on Concession 21, Georgian Bluffs. Officers arrested and charged 29 year old, Keshia KEESHIG from Neyaashiinigmiing First Nation with operation of a motor vehicle while impaired by alcohol and drugs, section 320.14(1)(a) Criminal Code of Canada (CC).
On June 7, 2020 at 10:46 a.m. Grey Bruce OPP stopped a (gold) sport utility vehicle on Sauble Falls Parkway, South Bruce Peninsula as a result of poor driving behaviour. On June 8, 2020 at 10:16 p.m. Grey Bruce OPP stopped a (white) car on Concession 17, Georgian Bluffs with two occupants. Officers arrested the driver for impaired driving.
