(GODERICH, ON) – Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is reaching out to the community to help figure out who is responsible for a recent theft in the Town of Goderich. Incredulously, someone stole a defibrillator from Bannister Park located on McDonald Street in Goderich.
Sometime overnight on May 28, 2020 someone attended the Kinette Pavilion area and helped themselves to the AED defibrillator that had been located at the park. The defibrillator was donated to the community through the Dave Mounsey Memorial Fund in July of 2019 at the park’s grand opening.
The stolen defibrillator is a HeartSine Samaritan PAD Sam 500 P model, valued at approximately $2,000.
