(OTTAWA, ON) – Members of the Ottawa Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have charged an individual from Lanark County with Impaired Driving after they were stopped for Stunt Driving.
Shortly after 9:00 p.m. on August 2, Ottawa OPP stopped a vehicle was travelling at 151km/h on Highway 417 in Ottawa’s west end. As a result of the investigation, officers determined that the driver had been drinking alcohol. He was arrested for Impaired Driving. The driver also had his wife and two year old child in the car with him.
Timothy ARNOLDI, 32 years of age has been charged with:
- Operation While Impaired – Alcohol and Drugs
- Operation While Impaired – Blood Alcohol Concentration (80 plus)
- Drive Motor Vehicle – Perform Stunt – Excessive Speed
- Speeding – 50+KM Over the Posted Speed Limit
- Disobey Sign
Arnoldi was released on an Undertaking and is set to appear in Provincial Court on September 24.
