(OXFORD COUNTY, ON) – On Friday, December 18, 2020, at approximately 8:46 p.m., the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Oxford County Detachment investigated an incident at a Whiting Street, Ingersoll address.
It was determined that police were contacted by a member of the public wanting officers to check on the wellbeing of person that was in a vehicle located in a parking lot of a business. Officers arrived on scene and located the vehicle at which time the driver was taken into custody without incident.
As a result, police charged 37-year-old Terrance William WHITE of Woodstock, Ontario with the following offences:
- Possession of Fentanyl,
- Possession of Methamphetamine,
- Operation while prohibited (5 counts),
- Fail to comply with probation order (2 counts),
- Driving while under suspension (2 counts), and
- Have care or control of vehicle with cannabis readily available.
The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice located in Woodstock at a later date.
