(OXFORD COUNTY, ON) – Two individuals have been arrested after a robbery in the Town of Tillsonburg.
On July 8, 2024, at approximately 2:30 a.m., members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Oxford detachment were called to an address in Tillsonburg for a reported robbery.
Two individuals entered a residence and stole a vehicle by force.
There are no reported injuries.
The motor vehicle was recovered.
There is no concern for public safety.
Police arrested two individuals for the following Criminal Code of Canada offences:
Wilhelm VANCAMPEN a 21-year-old resident of Norwich was charged with:
- Armed Robbery
- Break, Enter a Dwelling House With Intent to Commit Indictable Offence
- Possession of Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose
- Possession of Imitation Weapon for Dangerous Purpose
- Use Imitation Firearm While Committing Offence
- Forcible Confinement
- Possession of Break-In Instruments
- Flight From Peace Officer
- Disguise With Intent
Connor LEVER-FOISIE a 20-year-old resident from Brantford was charged with:
- Armed Robbery
- Break, Enter a Dwelling House With Intent to Commit Indictable Offence
- Possession of Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose
- Possession of Imitation Weapon for Dangerous Purpose
- Use Imitation Firearm While Committing Offence
- Forcible Confinement
- Flight From Peace Officer
- Disguise With Intent
The accused individuals have been remanded into custody and will appear in the Ontario Court of Justice, located in Woodstock, on a later date.
