MISSING: Howick Teen With Autism

(HOWICK TOWNSHIP, ON) – The Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), along with West Region OPP Emergency Response Team Members, West Region OPP K-9, and OPP Air Support is pleased to advise that the missing 16-year-old Howick teenager has been located alive and well.

On June 23rd, 2023, Huron OPP was notified of a missing teen from the Township of Howick. During the investigation, officers discovered that the youth, aged 16, had autism and was a member of the Mennonite community.

Thank you to everyone who assisted with this high priority search.

(HOWICK TOWNSHIP, ON) – The Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is seeking the public’s assistance in locating a missing 16-year-old Howick teenager.

On June 23rd, 2023, Huron OPP was notified of a missing teen from the Township of Howick. During the investigation, officers discovered that the youth, aged 16, has autism and is a member of the Mennonite community. Huron OPP is asking the public to assist in locating the missing teen.

Missing youth: Joseph is 16 years of age, approximately 5’9″ tall, medium build, wearing black pants with suspenders and a long sleeve shirt. It is believed that he is not wearing any footwear.

Joseph was last seen at 5:30 p.m. on June 23rd and may be lost in a large bush lot in the area of Salem Road.
