(GEORGIAN BLUFFS, ON) – On March 7, 2021 at 9:01 a.m. Grey Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) stopped a motor vehicle for excessive speeding on Highway 21, near Jackson Road, in the Township of Georgian Bluffs. This car was travelling over 130 kilometres per hour (km/hr) in the posted 80 km/hr speed limit.
Grey Bruce OPP have charged the driver, Jessamyn MCNABB, 26 years-of-age from Owen Sound, with stunt driving – 50km/h or more over posted speed limit, contrary to section 172(1) Highway Traffic Act (HTA).
The driver was served with a Provincial Summons to court, they were issued a seven day drivers licence suspension and their vehicle was towed and will be impounded for seven days.
