(MORRIS-TURNBERRY TWP, ON) – Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged a Stoney Creek resident with Impaired Operation – Blood Alcohol Concentration (80 Plus) following a failed roadside test on June 24th at 7:34 p.m. on Amberley Road at McLean Line in Morris-Turnberry Township.
Huron County OPP officers responded to a report of a possible driver in distress at the intersection of Amberley Road and McLean Line at 7:00 p.m. on June 24th, 2023. Police attended and located a vehicle stopped within the intersection. Police spoke with the driver of the vehicle which led to the investigating officer conducting a roadside screening device test on the driver. The roadside breath test resulted in a failure and the driver was placed under arrest and taken into custody.
The accused was then transported to the Listowel OPP Detachment for further breath tests. Two samples of breath were supplied to the Intoxilyzer Technician and both tests were found to be over the legal limit.
Susan BLACKLOCK, 63 years of age from Stoney Creek has been charged with:
– Operation While Impaired – Blood Alcohol Concentration (80 Plus).
The involved vehicle was towed and impounded for seven days, and the accused’ driver’s license was suspended for a period of 90 days.
The accused was later released from custody with a court appearance scheduled for August 14th, 2023, at the Ontario Court of Justice – Goderich.
