(Middlesex Centre, ON) – On June 24, 2021 at 12:52 a.m., Middlesex Ontario Provincial Police, while on general patrol, observed a suspicious vehicle parked at a business on Egremont Drive at Hickory Drive, Middlesex Centre township.
As a result, the investigation revealed approximately $6,000 worth of illicit drugs, located within the vehicle.
Peter BELIK, a 46-year-old from Adelaide Metcalfe Township, has been charged with:
- Possession of a prohibited device or ammunition, section 92(2) of the Criminal Code of Canada
- Poss of Firearm or Ammunition contrary to Prohibition Order, section 117.01(1) of the Criminal Code of Canada
- Poss of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine, section 5(2) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act
- Poss of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of Trafficking – Methamphetamine, section 5(2) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act
- Poss of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of Trafficking-Opioid (other than heroin), section 5(2) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act
- Poss of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of Trafficking-Opioid (other than heroin), section 5(2) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act
Shannon MRNIK, a 37-year-old from London, has been charged with:
- Possession of a prohibited device or ammunition
- Poss of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine
- Poss of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of Trafficking – Methamphetamine,
- Poss of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of Trafficking-Opioid (other than heroin)
- Poss of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of Trafficking-Opioid (other than heroin)
Karen BAIRD, a 47-year-old from Tillsonburg, has been charged with:
- Possession of a prohibited device or ammunition,
- Poss of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine
- Poss of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of Trafficking – Methamphetamine
- Poss of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of Trafficking-Opioid (other than heroin)
- Poss of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of Trafficking-Opioid (other than heroin)
The accused were held for a bail hearing at the Ontario Court of Justice in London on June 24, 2021 and have subsequently been released and are scheduled to appear in a London court room on July 23, 2021.
