(PERTH EAST, ON) – On October 3, 2022, at approximately 10:41 p.m., the Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were conducting a Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere (RIDE) checkpoint on Main Street North in the Township of Perth East.
Upon speaking with a driver who entered the checkpoint, the driver admitted to alcohol consumption, at which time a roadside screening device was administered. The driver was arrested for impaired operation and transported to a local operations center for further testing.
Connie DYNES, a 46-year-old resident of Milverton has been charged with the following:
– Operation while impaired – blood concentration (80 plus)
A 90-day Administrative Driver’s License Suspension (A.D.L.S.) and a 7-day Vehicle Impoundment was initiated as per statute. The accused has been released and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Stratford at a later date to answer to the charge.
