(NORTH HURON, ON) – A Wingham resident is facing a couple charges after he was arrested by Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) yesterday afternoon.
On Monday, November 30, 2020 at approximately 2:25 p.m. a Huron County OPP officer was patrolling in Wingham near Park Drive when an officer came across an offender wanted on some outstanding charges. The officer placed the subject under arrest and a subsequent search revealed the accused was in possession of a small quantity of suspected methamphetamine.
The accused was also found to be not complying with a condition of his probation order.
Brody STONE, 25 years of age, from Wingham has been charged with Possession of a Schedule I Substance – Methamphetamine and Fail to Comply with a Probation Order. He has since been released from custody with a court appearance scheduled for December 21, 2020 at the Ontario Court of Justice – Goderich.
